St. Matthew’s Day is Sept. 21 – Food, Fun and Wear Red!

Inflatable-Moon-Bounce_latest_thumbOur St. Matthew’s Day festivities begin with Baptisms at the 10am Eucharist, followed by a picnic lunch in Saints Hall with great food and great conversation. There’ll be pork, hot dogs and a vegetarian option provided; YOU provide the side dishes.

$3 per adult ; $2 per child.

Bouncy House, Slide & Obstacle Course for children.

Many of us wear something red to church on St Matthew’s Day. Red is the liturgical color worn on the feast days of martyred saints. Matthew, the evangelist, is traditionally venerated as a martyr.
