“Walking in the Word”
for children in kindergarten through 3rd grade
During the time of physical distancing, we are observing safe practices, following the Bishop’s directive and the CDC guidelines. Therefore, we are offering virtual choices for children, youth and families. Family Faith Bags are available by request to accompany some of the resources and lessons.
Walking in the Word will resume on Aug. 23rd, available online. This will be a recorded service based on the Sunday’s lectionary. readings and offers an age appropriate lesson, songs, questions for reflection, and activities for additional response.

“Leadership in Worship” positions
for youth grades 6-12
Youth in grades 6th-12th traditionally have participated in leadership in worship by serving in the roles of: acolytes (beginning as young as 3rd grade), lectors, intercessors, chalice bearers, ushers and greeters. Until we resume for inservice worship and classes, these ministries for children and youth are suspended.
