“Instructed Eucharist” for children is Jan. 18, 2015

There will be an “instructed Eucharist” for children in the Bridge and their families on January 18 at 10a in Clingman Chapel.

Our rector Kelly Kirby says, “Since 1971 the Episcopal Church has welcomed all baptized people to receive communion, including our very youngest members. The Instructed Eucharist will contain some instruction, and all of the Eucharist.

“I plan to go through the major parts of the liturgy and explain where they came from and what they are intended to do. (For example, a “collect” collects the people of the congregation, and gets us ready to say our prayers together as a congregation.)”

If you have children, please join us on Jan. 18 at 10a in Clingman Chapel.
