Large Type Books

The library has books in large print. Books on a variety of areas including biographies and fiction are available for those of us who prefer larger print. Spine lists help to identify these books on the shelves and a list of these titles is available upon request. A recent acquisition is Desire of the Everlasting Hills: The World Before and After Jesus by Thomas Cahill. Following his extraordinary best-selling histories How the Irish Saved Civilization and The Gifts of the Jews, Thomas Cahill brings us the third — and most daring — volume in his Hinges of History series. Desire of the Everlasting Hills: The World Before and After Jesus is a fresh look at the impact of Jesus and early Christianity on the shaping of Western civilization, told with Cahill’s characteristic lively narration and irresistible perceptions.
