Please fill in this form to let us know what you’d like to be involved in during 2016 as part of New Connections at St. Matthew’s.
In the fall of 2016 we will begin an ongoing discussion group using materials provided by Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ). There are other projects as well that you might wish to involved in: with St. George’s Scholar Institute in West Louisville, and with Habitat, building homes in West Louisville. If you would be interested in taking on a leadership role in any of the projects, there’s a box to indicate which project and what you’d be willing to take on.
Among our current New Connections group, Bob Clark and Roger Dutschke are our go-to leaders for the Habitat work. Edie Bingham and Bob Nesmith have served on the St. George’s board. There may be others in this group as well who have worked with St. George’s.
If you have not had a leadership role in one of these projects but would like to help organize our NewConn group, please indicate this on the form.
And there’s a place to add additional project ideas.
Although you needn’t fill in your name, please do so if you are interested in taking on a leadership role.
This information will help us decide whether we take on all or just a few of these projects.
I’ll be involved in the following projects (check as many as you want):
