Pastoral Counseling at St. Matthew’s

Are you or your family looking for a pastoral counselor?

Our Associate Rector, The Rev. Emily Crouch, writes,

Nearly 8 years ago I graduated from Louisville Seminary with a degree in Family Therapy and pastoral counseling. My hope has been to use training to work for healing and wholeness in body, mind and spirit.

I see pastoral counseling as bridging my role as parish priest, while providing a holistic approach that includes psychological and pastoral care. I see this as a continuation of a path that I began several years ago; not as the beginning of something new. As I seek to become licensed by the state of Kentucky as a Marriage and Family Therapist, I will work with an approved supervisor in the AAMFT (American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy).

I will offer support groups and see individual and family clients at St. Matthew’s. Counseling is available to you as a member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church and to your extended family at no charge.

Beginning on Wednesday March 18, 2015, I will begin scheduling appointments two days a week:

  • Wednesdays, 6pm – 9pm
  • Fridays, 10am-1pm.

To reach me to schedule appointments, please call 895-3485 ext. 103.

Please email Emily to obtain forms to complete before your initial visit.
