This past Sunday we had a good discussion of Bryan Stevenson’s Just Mercy. Moderator Judy Fischer’s handout included a list of relevant court rulings ( read/download here). Linda Ewald , who co- chaired assessment team for the American Bar Association’s Kentucky Death Penalty Assessment Report in 2011, talked about the situation in Kentucky ( read/download a summary of the report here..) When we talked about what we could do locally, Cathy Sutton suggested we help with St. George’s Thanksgiving dinnner. I’ll send a separate email about that.
