Social Justice

Social Justice Mission

We work to repair unjust structural systems (political, educational, housing,
economic, judicial, environmental, healthcare, and immigration) in our community.

Parish Goal

Bring about community healing regarding social justice through
prayer, relationships, and action with a particular focus on racial
and creation care.

Empower West City-Wide Book Read

Empower West is a coalition of Louisville area pastors and churches seeking to unleash the educational, economic, and spiritual power of West Louisville residents so that they might maximize their God-given potential and capacity. Once or twice a year, we invite the entire community to come together to read a book and then engage with the author on a topic that concerns the Black Community in Louisville.

Kentucky Interfaith Power & Light

Kentucky IPL is a community of congregations, faith-based organizations, and individuals of faith responding to climate change as an ethical and moral issue, through advocacy, education, energy conservation, energy efficiency, stewardship, and the use and promotion of clean, renewable energy.
